Got a small garage and not much infrastructure for better lights (yet) so I got one of these from Amazon and it’s awesome.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
EDIT: There are other versions with better reviews and cost a bit less, just passing on the one that I bought.
I have no connection to this product or Amazon and won’t make money off this link or whatever. I just think it’s great to turn 1 bulb into 3 adjustable LED arrays. And it’s really friggen bright.
This (above) is my garage door light with the same bulb I replaced with this product.
This (above) is the new light. You guys got any other garage light suggestions?

I replaced the single screw-in bulb light fixtures with outlets and connected some LED shop lights that can plug in to each other. It made a world of difference. Now instead of two dim little bulbs I have four 4ft. LED shop lights.

hmm. I think I’m going
to do something SLIGHTLY different.
4x LED panels like that. One in each corner. saves from having 1 single origin and keep the contrast between shadow/light easier.

OK, you’ve convinced me to buy a couple from a different brand for my parents, who could use more light in some places. We’ll see... Do sort of wish there was a reputable brand selling them, but I was just seeing a bunch of Chinese no-name companies. Oh well, the one I got had nearly 700 reviews, and no one was saying it burned down their house, though I saw some talk of failures.

Good idea, didn’t even see the reviews it was suggested by a friend I trust. Either way there’s so many cheap crap things from China that mostly last well but have some bad Amazon reviews, I’d never buy anything if I didn’t just eventually take a risk lol
Probably might have bought a slightly cheaper or better reviewed one so apologies if it looks like I’m saying BUY THIS ONE ONLY, but it was passed to me and we both love it so I passed it on.

I bought a similarly designed light and it is amazing. I still need to add an LED shop light over my actual bench, but this that light is amazing.

I had seen these in advertisement on Instagram. So naturally I checked amazon and I’d have ordered some if hadn’t already found some from a demolition job I snagged about a year ago. It replaces the whole fixture, but these just screw in. Brilliant.

Simple pedal style with a motion sensor but that's going to get redone. The pedal is nice if it's dark out and dont want to get blinded. The bar lights so a fantastic job.

Oh that’s nice. I want bar lights eventually but for some damn reason there’s only one outlet in my garage (even though that’s the main power breaker location, and it has lots of light switches) and it’s crudely attached to the rafters to power the garage door opener. It would just take more effort than I’m willing to do currently.

It’s honestly almost unsettling how clearly lit everything is. I tend to get the yellow-ish frequencies mostly because it’s softer and what I’m used to. But for trying to really see things clearly, this is a great solution. Makes me giggle turning it on lol
